DSM 7 - Plex Media Server - Unable to stream plex media remotely outside LAN

Hi,

I’ve been having this issue where I’m unable to stream plex media outside of LAN where it keeps showing up this error.

“Could not direct play because: App cannot direct play this item. No direct play video profile exists for protocol http, with container mkv, and video codec hevc.
Could not transcode because: Not enough CPU for conversion of this item”.

When I tried streaming on my mobile device outside LAN, it says “Unable to play media”.

It was working before on DSM6. I suspect it’s a transcoding issue but I’ve tried all different settings on PMS and doesn’t work. It could be an issue with DSM7 but can’t get around on what the problem is.

Streaming on home LAN is also working fine.
Streaming outside LAN is working fine IF I do a manual optimised version for mobile on 720p (i.e. using direct play)

Server Version#: 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: 7.25 (1615) on Apple TV.
Player Version#: 8.25.1.28703 (7bcafd43) on Android.

Any advice would be helpful.
