DTS file for a movie

How do I go about adding a separate DTS file to a movie? I have added the file to the same folder as the movie, however none of my players can detect that audio track. It is a DTS-MA and I have devices capable of playback, including a proper Yamaha receiver and Nvidia Shield. Is there a way I have to name that file or a separate subfolder I have to make for that movie?

Plex currently has no concept of external audio tracks. Your best way forward is to use an app like MKVTOOLNIX to mux the audio track into your file.

There’s a feature suggestion for Plex to allow recognition of external audio tracks, same as it does for subtitles.
