Using Plex on Nvidia Shield is not playing. Not sure why. Has anybody else encountered this issue while playing 4K UHD videos? No Issues with TrueHD Sound. Only DTS-HD HRA 7.1, Video is fine. Encoding is fine, video file sound is encoded properly. Odd that only this particular audio is not playing.

Same problem with sony android tv connected to a sony avr over hdmi arc (passtrough turned on for hdmi, receiver supports dts hd ma). Video starts streaming and the receiver start playing dts 5.1 for a couple of seconds than it starts flashing the dts icon on the screen and the sound stops.
Only happens with DTS-HD MA 7.1, 5.1 works flawlessly.
I am not sure DTS HD Master Audio is supported via HDMI ARC currently. So it explains maybe your issue.
We are talking in this topic about DTS High Résolution Audio witch is not the same. It is a lossy codec whereas DTS Master Audio is a lossless codec. In my case, DTS MA is passing through ok whereas DTS HRA is not (but with Kodi Plex plug-in, it is working). It appears it is a bug in the way the HDMI passthrough is initialized by Plex Android TV player :
