Dual Audio issue

Having issues with dual audio files, both english and Japanese audio streams play simultaneously for some reason.

This issue is specific to my ATV3 as audio plays perfectly over my laptop.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Direct Play or Transcoder active?

this was occurring with Directplay and Auto. I was not able to test with Transcode as my Nas does not have the muscle to transcode.

While playing, press and hold select. You should find a menu showing available audio tracks and subtitles. Does it indicate something regarding “play simultaneously”?
The thing is… with direct play, PlexConnect does basically nothing. Are you able to stream that file from iTunes? What does it do then?

Tried it, what came up was the Subtitle option with “OFF” checked and and under speakers “Apple TV” checked. No other options was present or anything that indicated “play simultaneously”.

Will try iTunes in a bit.

This is the exact problem I’m currently having… I thought it was an aTV 4 problem, but I’ve just gone back and tried my aTV 3 and the same thing happens, both with Plex Direct Play and iTunes Home Sharing. The aTV plays both audio tracks at the same time… The thing is this never use to happen and I don’t know what’s changed to cause it to start happening :frowning:
