Been trying to find this out for a few days now. I have asked on the nvidia site and have not gotten a straight answer yet. Tested a few files and they show up on my TV as HDR not DV.
I’m trying to play DV as it would from a UHD, so I get actually DV.
Is it a Plex issue? I have seen various accounts of people saying it works fine and some saying it’s the Shield and some it’s Plex.
My system:
Plex Server running on Synology NAS (Direct Play) (MKV - nothing transcoded or anything)
2019 Shield Pro
Plex player on Shield
to NAD T 778
to LG OLED CX 77
Edit: DV is showing on my TV playing through my Apple TV 4K. Perhaps it’s the Shield after all. Any thoughts?
