Two different TV Servers, both showing the same Guide and not “tuning in correct channels”

I have two Plex Servers, Location A and Location B. Both servers have a TV Tuner with a different Channel line up. As of the last week or two, when looking at the Guides they are showing the Identical shows/channels and when selecting the channel at each “location”, they tune in the same channel… no longer seen as different location/servers/guides.

When I “update” the guide on Location A, that guide is now on both Servers.
When I “update” the guide on Location B, that guide is now on both Servers.

Things I have tried to resolve this issues.

  1. Turned off Browser Setting Sync
  2. Removed Cache and Data from Player (resigning in and resetting up)
  3. Logging directly in to each Location Server and re-scanning channels and trying to view local channels

My understanding is that a single guide is allowed currently for a single Plex Pass account. So, on the Plex account, two servers will always use the same guide configuration.

If this is true? Then I’m not sure it how it worked for the past few months.

My apologies, apparently I had it wrong: You can have different guides per Plex Pass account, but only the one guide per server . :slight_smile:

Which PMS version do you have installed and on which OS?

Each PMS has it own Tuner/Guide

Location A:
Win10 1903
PMS Version 1.18.0.1944

Location B:
Unraid Version: 6.7.2
plexinc/pms-docker - Version 1.18.0.1944

Hi @kaveli, do you see this problem only in Plex Web, or in other clients as well?

I see this on all players/clients.

Plex Web
Nexus Player
Sony TV
Android Phone - I can only see one PMS/live tv (No drop down/no other sources)

When going into the settings on all clients, I see 7.22.1.12828

If you need any other info please let me know.

@emilybersin I wanted to Watch TV from Server A today and I could not tune in any channels or see the Guide. So I re-scanned channels and then the Guide reloaded. Now Plex Web and other players only show Sever A guide. I attached new logs for both servers to help troubleshoot.

Any update on this?

I still have to re-scan/refresh the guide to switch between DVR’s

Status update - After receiving the latest Server updates for both DVR’s, I still have to re-scan/refresh to switch between the two.

Stating desired support for this as well. I can’t validate hardware on ATSC or any other standards with my account due to also using cablecard.
