I can't see the guide on a second server

I run two plex servers at two different addresses. One server is local and has an ethernet connection to my local network. The other is remote, running via an ethernet connection on a network in another state. Try as I might, I am unable to see the guide information for the remote server. So, as an example, I am unable to set a recording for the local news or local PBS shows on my remote server. Any ideas on how to view the guide info for the remote server?

Similar, yes. Differences are as follows.
My servers are on two separate networks in two different markets.
Both servers are using OTA tuners with antennas (no cable card).

I used teamviewer to verify that the remote server does in fact have the correct guide data. In fact, that is my workaround for the time being. I access my remote computer/network using teamviewer and then open the plex server on that computer. I can then access that livetv/DVR function and browse the guide, schedule recordings etc. Not the most elegant solution, but it appears to work, so you can mark my request as more of an FYI or FWIW. Thanks!!

Yes but the key points in common are: 1) two servers and 2) two different guides. I believe that is the source of the issue.

If you can follow the instructions in gathering logs and post them in that thread, we can have a dev take a look :slight_smile:

Well I’m not sure when this was fixed, but I’m no longer seeing the similar issue I had so I think your problem may be gone as well now if you haven’t checked.

Nope. No change for me. I still can’t see the guide for the distant server. Thanks for letting me know though!

Please get server logs from the remote server with debug enabled - when you try to access Live TV & DVR on that server remotely.

How are you accessing the remote server? Through a Plex Web session signed to the account that owns both servers ? Do you see “Live TV and DVR” in the left side bar for that server in Plex Web ?
