I would never have bought my second Dune player, a 303D, had a Base 3D before, if it wasn’t for newloran2 and his Plex plugin.
Before emplexar I only used my Dune for Blu-Ray backups. Watched all Tv Shows on my Mac Mini. Today I watch all Shows on my two Dune players thanks to emplexar.

I have recently added a second Dune D1 to my network. I was playing around with settings and comparing NFS to SMB. All of a sudden I cannot get emplexer to play anything via SMB. I keep getting a “format not supported” error. All my files are on an UnRAID server, and I can access them via NFS. Not sure what happened, but is it possible that my path has been changed when switching protocols? The problem playing over SMB remains after power cycling the Dune and restarting the router. Anyone using UnRAID out there that can shed some light?
I've read when connecting to a NAS it's preferable to use NFS.
+1 for Dune integration, if it's still valid, as the thread seems to be quite old

New Firmware B9 preview: use with caution. You must perform a full reset after installation.
The new firmware has a new GUI, i think it looks good. so far I haven't come a cross any bugs but its still early days.
I'm not that impressed with it, maybe if I see more.
Btw, when scrolling through a folder with media files in it, is there a quick way to go to the files starting with Z? Now I have to keep the down button pressed and it takes so long...

So I added another Dune to my network, and have it set up identically to my existing one, but a few features of Emplexer are not working. Specifically, restarting from last play position and marking as watched when episode finishes. I have been through every menu item and set them alike, but one works and the other doesn't. Anyone have a clue what I might be missing? I'm on the same firmware, same Plex Server, using NFS, I've tried Dune playback vs VOD playback, resume settings are all set to 'yes'. Any direction would be highly appreciated.

...i need your help, please: I`m not able to set smb oder nfs in emplexer Setup...:-((( All Library paths are set correctly in the emplexer setup menu, but if try to play a movie by "hitting" the enter-button, nothing happens. All rights within the Qnap TS439 Pro are all right, and smb-streaming with Plex for Popcorn works very well. BUT i want to use emplexer!!!
I think i can remember, that dune can only handle ONE "nfs-location" or smb-location. Is this right? What can i do else???
Any help is appreciated!!!

Try to grab a log file after you tried to play a file. You will probably find what’s wrong in the log file.
If not you can post it here and someone else might know what’s wrong.

I don't know but send-me your emplexer.log and i see what's wrong.
If possible please install the 2.0 and see if that version have the same issue.

The dune can (and emplexer) can handle multiple nfs locations.
If possible send-me you emplexer.log and i help with this issue.
