I've used Version 1 for quite some time now and was very happy with it. Now i thought it is time to update to Emplexer 2.
Despite the missing nfs/samba support I'm wondering if it is not possible to see the Metadata and the Moviedetails as it was possible in Version 1 (Pressing "Info" on the remotecontrol)

The only problem I've found with the b9 firmware, is that emplexer watched/unwatched colours don't work with the new GUI.
Hi to all.
I have this problem where i'm installing the plugin per the instructions and when it install correctly and i try to run it from the dialog box after the instrallation is complete it gives me the error message :
"Impossible to launch application"
I am installing on a Dune Max HD with the latest firmware installed (b9, i've perfomed a full reset). I also installed on the previous version (b8) and it gave me the same message.
When i click on it from the Applications menu it does nothing.
Does anyone else have experienced his problem ?

If you mean this post by you "Go to emplexer settings and make sure that "Add to main screen" is set to Yes. " then i have another question.
To access the setting the application must launch first or is it something i have to change in the xml config or some other file inside the zip?
Because in my case not even the intial setup pop up gets activated.

On your Dune goto Setup/Applications/emplexar (I'm on a Dune 3D and 303D but I guess the Max UI looks the same) and there you should see the Add to main screen option.

Thank you very much ! I had no idea the Setup/Aplication Menu even existed. I put the ip of the plex server and it works flawlessly !

Not sure on the first question but yes you can have version 1 & 2 installed together. I'm using PMS on Unraid and it works fine with both versions.

i have quite the same problem..
so I followed the instructions above : the parameter is on "yes" (cf below)
on Emplexer, I can see the 2 categories I created on PMS (ie. "Movies" & "french"), but when I click on 1 of them, i have an "error message"..
here are my parameters :
- @IP of PMS
- port : 32400
- cnx type : http
- not seen caption / seen caption : white
- add to main screen : yes
- use cache : yes
- playback type : vod playback
- resume options : Ask
- Filters : default
but i have the message "the area ... does not return any xml (404)"

I need consultation on using Dune TV-303D as Plex "player". My software is as follows: emplexer 2.0-B03 on firmware 140610_0131_b8.
My use case is as follows: I browse Plex library on Android mobile app, and then start playback on Dune by selecting emplexer in "connect to" menu.
My two (related) questions does emplexer support (using Android mobile app):
1. seek to particular playback position while viewing video?
2. "resume from" feature?
Each time I try to seek to particular position (using Android mobile app) while video is playing, Android complains "Unable to connect to emplexer" and suggest to resume playback on mobile device instead of emplexter. Emplexer does not take any action and just continues playback.
Each time I try to "resume" playback from time I stopped previously, emplexer just starts playback from the beginning. Sometimes Android app complains that its "Unable to connect to emplexer".
Please advise.

OK, nevermind, got it installed.
the use of "zip -r dune_plugin_emplexer2.zip *" while in the folder containing the Emplexer 2.0 files makes a proper plugin that the Dune plugin manager can install.
Now on to figuring out the "unhandled PHP plugin error" that's coming up :( The spoiler below contains my Emplexer2 log. Any help would be appreciated.

hello,
i discovered an emplexer2-b03 release on https://github.com/newloran2/emplexer/releases after looking for my error message on internet.
So I installed it on my Dune.
it worked fine, I had to enter my NAS @IP, full of hope, but when I launched emplexer2-b03, it says also "unhandled PHP plugin error"

No help for these PHP errors? Really would like to try v2.
Also, what would cause the watched status to not update, when no setting have been changed. Both my Dune's are not updating now, and also do not resume partially watched content.
@weyb:
Do you have the authentification in your local Network enabled in PLEX? Exempler cannot handle this, so you have to disable it!
