i made this dune_plugin_logs - folder on my usb stick, but there is no log file in it. when i start the movie - there is a plugin log file in this folder. when i start with the “trailer” button, there is no logfile…
The log file is one for all plugin’s actions. For sure just resboot your dune and start plugin and try start trailers. After this send me the log file
after reboot dpc produces log-file…

i’m trying to install DPC but i have a problem.
The instal is ok but i don’t know how configure the software.
When i go on the configuration page, i can connect my flex account but i can’t configure the ip adresse of my nas.
Is there a file to modify or anything else to do ?

Hi, Want to say that i really like your plug-in. Simple, Easy, Fun and works great. However (you knew there was going to be a ‘however’, right?), I’ve recently upgraded my Dune Smart to the Dune Solo 4K. When I try to install the DPC zip file I get the error ‘Invalid Application Data’. Unfortunately, there are no details other than this message.
Since the Solo seems to be extremely similar to the Smart model in functionality, etc. I figure that to fix this problem might be just changing a few configuration files in the deployment package, but I could be very wrong on that point.
In any case, do you think you might be releasing a version that supports the Solo 4K model in the future?

Hello All,
I’m still here and I’m still working on DPC but with less enthusiasm because it shares my free time with other projects. Hope new version soon.
I just bought my first Dune player that arrived yesterday and installed jmper’s DPC plug-in. The only problem I had did not know what “Warning. You need setup “system” storage to plug-in works properly” meant. I couldn’t find anything about it on this forum. I finally found it on Google and installed a USB flash drive.
The only problem is that when I click on DunePlexCatalog under Sources, I still get the same error message. When I click OK and go to my movie and video files the movie walls look great. I am using: dune_plugin_dpc_v1_094.zip, which I think is the latest version.
Since no one else has mentioned this problem, maybe you already had System Storage already set up before loading DPC and this makes a difference?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Which Dune unit are you using? If you are using the Solo 4k, most of the plugins for other dune units will not work. I had extensive discussions with people on various forums and the consensus is that since the Dune Solo 4K uses a completely different chipset and CPU, that the “old” plug-ins will need to be updated with the executables for the new ARM processor before they will work.
If you are using almost any other Dune player, I would try this.
- De-initialize System Storage
- Reformat the USB that you are using for system storage (SS needs a drive with nothing on it to initialize)
- Re-initialize system storage
- Try to reinstall DPC
If that doesn’t work, Repeat the above adding a step (2.a) to factory reset your dune.
Good question: If jmper has a PayPal or other way we can donate, I’d like to try to entice him with a little cash to re-work his DPC for the Dune Solo 4k

Thank you! Your procedure worked and saved me a lot of time on my HD Smart D1 since all original settings were kept. (I was going to do a complete reset/reinstall).

I’m just curious when the next version of the DPC will be released.

As usually I have not enough time for development DPC, but next version is going to release soon.
This project became to difficult next evolution because it were many different demands after release.
So, next release would be the last. I’m planning start new Plex client for dune project with new program architecture. Of course it will have all DPC abilities and new functions.
