I have had PMS installed on Windows for a year and just bought a Synology DS918+ and installed Plex. I set up new libraries on the new PMS and let i download new metadata. Everything went as planned and everything is working fine. When all was finished I logged out the old PMS on Windows and now only the new installation on the NAS is active. On the home screen the libraries shows up fine but in Users when I share a library every library before I removed the old installation shows up twice. Both in My Home and in Friends.
I addes a new library to the server and that one only shows up once as it should. I have optimezed the database, cleand bundles but it still shows up twice. This is no biggie, just annoying. Is there any way I can get this removed?
I have looked in several forums and I can find a lot of people having problem with duplicates in the home screen and how to solve that, but now only in the Users section of PMS.
Exactly the same issue in my installation. I deinstall an reinstall the Plex app on my Synology. Everything works fine. But when I share libraries, they shows up twice. Under devices I had only one server (the current) - the last time I had this issue, there was more than one server (the old one and the current).
You can remove the server under settings -> server, or under devices server (i don’t know exactly the english menus because I use a german installation…
I’ve just tried using “Sign Out” from under the “Server” menu. Signed back in and that did not help.
I will try removing the server from devices and see if that helps.
I removed the server, meaning signed out and then reclaimed it, but I still see the duplicates. I can not find the menu called “devices” you are talking about, can anyone point me in the right direction?
