I have movies on my internal hdd, and movies on another external one. Some of the movies on both locations are the same (ie duplicates of each other). Their naming convention is the same, yet some movies are combined into the same entry while other movies are in separate entries.
I want all duplicates to be combined. How do I force Plex to combine them?
Duplicate movies only get combined if the two copies were ‘matched’ with the same Metadata agent.
If you changed the agent between adding the first and the last copy of the movie then the two instances may have been matched using different agents. (Freebase vs. TheMovieDatabase)
Mark both posters (hold down CTRL / CMD and click with mouse), then select ‘Merge’ from under the ellipsis ( . . . ) on the left side.
