I am seeing duplicate results in my movies. I deleted my old server and started fresh on a new server but now I am getting these duplicate entries showing up. Anyone else experience this and how to rectify it? I have removed everything, updated metadata and readded and the same movies result in the same issues.
What you see aren’t duplicates but collections. Notice the different label (the actual movie has the release year under it, the collection the number of movies it contains → 1).
Given the names of your items, I assume you’re using mp4 files with embedded metadata? In that case Plex will interpret the embedded Album tag as a collection.
That was it, once removing the collections tag. The issue was resolved.
