the only time I see that is when I have two TV libraries pointed to the same files. You may notice that you will have duplicate entries in “On Deck” or continue watching as well
As an example you could have an “All TV Shows” library that includes all of your folders with television shows, and a second library that just points to a “Talk TV Shows” folder. Plex then includes a recently added item for both libraries, even though they are the same recently added file.
I work around that by disabling the “Include in Dashboard” option for one of the libraries. In the above example I would disable it for the “Talk TV Shows” library.
