Tv shows listed 2 times in recently added TV

Greetings,

I split my TV shows into libraries for TV-Nature, TV-Series, TV-How-To, TV-History, TV-Exercise, TV-cooking, and others. This allows the family to more easily find shows they want to watch. I then added an overall library called TV-All. This means that every TV show is listed 2 times when it is on the hard drive once. I want the folders in both libraries but I want duplicates removed from the home page recently added section.

If all of your TV shows will be included in one of categorized libraries, you can tell Plex to not show item from your TV-All library in the dashboard. Edit the library and, on the Advanced tab, uncheck the “Include in dashboard” option.

Early 2021 clean-up:

  • no particular feature suggestion
  • option to configure which libraries to be included on the home page explained
  • current UI will break down main hubs per library
