DVD commentary tracks unavailable for second disc of two-disc movies

Hi there,
I like ripping my discs to include all audio tracks, so I can have access to director’s commentaries in particular. And I’m a big fan of the commentaries on “The Lord of the Rings” Extended Edition DVDs. The tracks are visible to select, and play smoothly through the “first disc” of each film, but once it switches to the “disc two” file, the track stops playing. To be clear, I can still select it, but it just plays the regular film audio. This is true of any movie with two discs. Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?
