I am new to Plex. Unfortunately, I could not find any answer from Plex itself and hope the forum can provide me this information.
If I have DVD and Blu-Ray but no digital copy. Can I get them into server/library and how?
If you mean you like to use Plex as a kind of DVD/BluRay catalog, there is a way, but it is not easy.
And of course it defies the purpose of Plex as a media server.

Get MakeMKV (Shareware: http://www.makemkv.com/buy/) and use it to pull the movie/show from the DVD to your Computer HDD. Use Use Handbreak (freeware: https://handbrake.fr/) to optimize the file bitrate, format, subtitles, etc. Both the freeware come with pretty good instructions. IF you are copying TV shows make sure you use the PLEX naming conventions. See https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/your-media/ for naming of TV and Movies.
if you want to use plex to WATCH your content, you must RIP your content.
