Great plugin! Saved a lot of grief with my firefly episodes =).

worked for american dad, BUT when plex does an auto update, it changes it back to the wrong order, is there a way i can stop it updating just american dad?

tried to use it with Cheers, kept searching, but was always back on aired order. tried an unmatch, so blank thumbnails and everything, then did a match using tvdbdvd, searched for ages again, but came back blank again. I know thereā€™s dvd order on the tvdb website cos i checked itā€¦ whatā€™s going on there? :confused:

please someone help meā€¦ I canā€™t get it to work for any series at all, and I have a lot now that need to be DVD order. Itā€™s driving me mad :ā€™(

Having an odd issues.

Plugin install correctlyā€¦but when I change Firefly to the DVD order via the plugin, it rescans and matches Firefly to The Inbetweeners.



Even when I try ā€œFix incorrect matchā€ it finds Firefly, but still scans it in as The Inbetweeners.



Any ideas?

iā€™m curious, which is the most recent version? there are several to download throughout the thread.



also, iā€™m having an issue where it is pulling the correct episode title and meta-data according to the DVD Order, but the preview image is sometimes from the Episode Order, but not consistently.

Got this plug-in working great for Firefly, thanks so much! But Iā€™m still having issues with ā€˜Batman the Animated Seriesā€™, when switching to the DVD order agent, and rescraping Plex then wants to treat Batman as X-Men the animated series, and rematching doesnā€™t display Batman in the choices. I could rename and number to the Aired order, but Iā€™d prefer not to if thereā€™s a work around. :wink:

It sounds like the first thing you have to do is get Firefly to scan correctly.



Could you perhaps describe the file hierarchy, and file names?



Or we can try this - Create a new user. Create a new teevee show folder(HDD/TV Shows/Firefly/episodes) that only has Firefly in it. From the new user account, let Plex do itā€™s thing and scan it. Copy the logs. Now add the DVD Order agent bundle, and ā€˜Match usingā€™ and see what the results are.

Hi Smithcraft,

Firefly scans in fine when I add it to my library (Aired Order), it's when I right-click, match using dvdorder where it scans in as The Inbetweeners. I don't believe it's an issue with the naming conventions, as I had this working in the past (About two weeks ago I moved my Plex Media Server to Macmini). Anyway, below is the way my files look.

I'll give the other suggestion a try and try adding the server under a different user and report back.

Well, they certainly are named fine.



Perhaps one other suggestion might be to remove the Season 1 folder and just have the files in the Firefly folder.



Ok, one more suggestion - remove the episode names also, so that the files are just ā€˜Firefly - s01eXY.mkvā€™

Iā€™m having a similar problem - all shows coming up as The Inbetweeners! (Currently Iā€™ve just done x-files, dollhouse, firefly and TSCC)



Any ideas?

Thanks for this plugin, it has saved me countless hours of frustration in several cases. Mostly I blame Adult Swim for never releasing anything on DVD in the order they aired it :lol:

It does work on Linux: just add it manually to the Plug-Ins folder like on a Mac.

edit: okay, didn't see that it was only a .plexapp now.
Maybe a Mac user can retrieve it after installation as a .bundle, and share it here?

For some reason, Iā€™m not seeing the plugin option when I select Firefly in the media server. Iā€™ve tried both the app and the bundle. Any ideas?
