DVD Order naming

Server Version#:1.19.3.2852

I am trying to name and add a show where the files are in DVD order, with multiple episodes in a single file. They are in these files in a completely different order than the aired order.

Example:

1x01 & 1x04 & 1x06 are in a single file direct from the official DVD. I actually have a listing right here.

How would a person go about prepping this first of all for Plex without splitting episodes?

If I use Edit/Advanced/Episode ordering: DVD order, it doesn’t seem to do anything even after I refresh metadata.

Any tips on how I can tackle this? I hope I don’t have to use a program to split the episodes. You can see in the link it has 1x20, 1x30, 1x43, and 1x46 in the same ‘episode’ when used in DVD order.

According to this list, the episodes entitled "Everything’s Ducky / Leap no More my Lady / “V” For Visitor / The Jinx
are simply S01E01.
So, if you have a file which has all these episodes within, simply name it Beetle Bailey - S01E01.mkv
After scanning the tv shows library, go to the top level of the Beetle Bailey show,
edit it,
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
and change ‘Episode ordering’ to “DVD order”
Then Refresh Metadata for the whole show.
