DVR an error occurred while posprocessing the recording

I have been having two troubles.

  1. a select few shows will not DVR at all and i get a postprocessing error
  2. a select few shows will not record the entire show (The Gong Show only recorded the 2nd half of the show)
    Short of the Plex Media server logs what else is needed to assist me with this issue?
