An error occurred while postprocessing the recording

Almost every recording is failing with “An error occurred while postprocessing the recording”.

I haven’t used Plex for a while since I ditched my cable. Finally got a HD HomeRun CONNECT and antenna to get back into Plex. I’m using Plex Server 1.11.0.4666 on Fedora 27. Most of my recordings seem to fail with the postprocessing error. It has rendered Plex mostly useless since I more often see failures.

Do you have any info on this issue and if it is understood by the developers? This is very frustrating and disappointing. I tried a yum remove and reinstall, disabling transcoding while recording and disable commercial skip. Even a workaround would be welcome since I now feel like a beta tester even though I’m using a release version and I am a paying user.

Since the last update to the server, 1.12.2.4929, my DVR recordings all come back saying “An error occurred while postprocessing the recording.” I have since unchecked the remove commercials box and will have to wait and see if the next recording goes okay. I really like the remove commercial option, but something is askew.
