I have recently just set up my Nvidia shield as a media server and have installed a Haupage Win TV tuner as well as adding additional internally mounted storage.
I enabled Plex Pass yesterday and am having trouble enabling the DVR and Live tv Funtionality, when I got to my shield TV on the web app the live TV option isn’t visible (see screenshot) I have read the various help guides and searched the forum but can’t see anyone else having the same problem.
Any ideas on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
If you don’t have this version and there is no update in Google play app, on a computer, in a web browser, go on Google play and search for plex media server. Click install and log in with your Shield Google account. Select your Shield in the drop down menu. This will push the latest version to your Shield and also linked your google account to pms. Next pms update should appear in Google play app.
