I believe you need to restart your Plex Server. The restart forces it to check in with Plex hosts, which will validate your Plex Pass and enable Plex Pass features.
FYI, that’s the version of the Plex client app on the Shield.
Thank you for your reply. I unauthorized the shield, turned off the Plex server on the shield, logged out of the web, and rebooted the shield. Same results.
Server is on the shield, the 2017 model with the same footprint as the 2019 pro. I have re-authorized the shield and restarted the server in various combinations without luck. IMPORTANT tidbit: I had it running successfully with an email address that I later changed. After the email change, the menu is as shown above.
You must have the server running and visible again.
Launch the Plex client on the Shield and go into settings. Does it show the server as running? If not, re-enable it and try to login.
Try pointing your browser directly at the Shield, https://shield_ip_address:32400/web (ex: https://192.168.1.250:32400/web). See if you can login with either your current or old e-mail address.
If using your old e-mail address, then logout of the server (Settings -> Server -> General -> Sign Out) and re-claim it using your current account.
If you don’t mind starting over from scratch, you could always delete the server, then re-enable it and start over. You won’t lose any data, but you will have to re-create your libraries.
