I do not have the option to set up Live TV & DVR when launching the Web App. I have the proper tuner and antenna set up, I can launch the web app, and see my Nvidia plex server. However, there is no option to set up live TV under settings…
Please advise? I know that it has to be a certain version, but I have the newest android TV version.
I have the same issue… I have a full plex pass, nvidia shield TV pro, but no option for setting up the DVR. Not sure how to fix this… checked on the web app on the PC (settings->server) and on the nvidia itself.
~~Where are you using the web app? As far as I understand it the web app is not capable of playing live tv. If you are using windows you can install Plex from the windows store and that will give you the ability to watch live TV on your computer. ~~
Yeah - so i stand corrected. I thought you could use the Plex app from the windows store but I just tried it and did not see the options. Sorry
What is the pms version, please post the numbers.
If you don’t have 1.9.4, then on your computer, with a web browser, go on Google play, search for plex media server. Click install and log in with your Shield Google account. Select your Shield in the drop down menu. This will push the latest version to your Shield and also linked your google account to pms. So next update, it will show up in Google play app.
