Something I have observed with the alpha build. The dates on the guide are still out by 1 day (should see 5/13/22).
I am currently recording “Today Extra” and will confirm if the date is fixed once the recording is complete.

According to the recorded file seen in the Plex GUI, it is out by two days (should be 5/13/22):

The databases you sent for the alpha do not appear to be Plex Media Server - may be they are from the nano Plex Media Server within the Plex Desktop app which is in a different path within the %LocalAppData%
The path for the databases is
%LocalAppData%\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases
and not
%LocalAppData%\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases
The latter being for the desktop app
Please see if you find the right database files
I will refer the beta database files and all screenshots to the development team
To summarise the state now
- The EPG Guide appears to be disaplaying UTC dates rather than local dataes
- Recording filename has date that is out by 1 day
- The date showing on the recording in the Plex client app is out by 2 days

The problem is being fixed by a change to our back-end EPG systems - this has already happened and a further change to Plex Media Server that is being released in version 1.27.0
I have sent you alpha build Version 1.27.0.5835-46d34faf7 to run with and confirm that all is OK

Alpha is running smoothly. No issues with the dates seen in the recordings (so far).
The only odd behavior I have noticed so far is the “Updating Metadata” is still ongoing (6+ hours have passed).

The fix has now been release in the current beta release of Plex Media Server 1.27.0.5849-99e933842 - together with the earlier release of changes to the back-end DVR EPG systems
