this happens with mine quite often. I actually have two devices, a Hauppage USB device that is not officially supported and a Hauppage internal PCIe tuner that is. Sometimes they all show “not found” but everything works. I can usually wait 5 or 10 minutes and they all show up again. Very weird to me.
My Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD worked fine until two days ago. First noticed plex could only see 3 chanels but WinTv could see 60+, tried refreshing and then no channels showed up. Today come in and device not found.
