I received an email telling of this new feature - however it’s not clear.
Does anyone know if it only records OTA stations (e.g. CBS, NBC,ABC) - or if it records all channels you subscribe to (like HBO, AMC, ESPN, etc - as the picture in the email seems to imply)?
Also - if it’s only the local networks - is it only if you have an antenna attached?

Plex will not do encrypted channels. It will do unencrypted cable channels with the right tuner and/or it will do antenna channels.

To be more specific Plex will not work with broadcasts that are DRM or have Copy-Once protection applied to them. I currently record the majority of shows we watch with my antenna and HDHR Connect(s), HDHR Extend, and a HDHR Dual. I am wanting to get away from DirecTV so figured I would give Spectrum a try since I have had a HDHR Prime for years and my Internet is currently though Spectrum. Added their TV Service to my account and got a CableCard to use for decrypting the channels with my HDHR Prime. Every channel except the local OTA channels have DRM applied by Spectrum. Needless to say the Cable Card went back today and TV service was cancelled.
