I’ve lost capability to record programs. The Guide shows the programs, and it shows they are to be recorded. But in the scheduled recording window, it shows no activity and the recording priority window shows no upcoming airings. Just checked to make sure the channel was active, it was, and looks like the live program is being recorded.
Have tried re-selecting program to record and updated both player for Mac and server for NAS PR2100 without improvement. Suggestions please
Check your Plex Media Server logs to see why it is not scheduling the show for recording. The logs will give you a reason. FYI, the Guide recording indicator is just so you know you already have a recording either single episode (red block with single white circle image) or series (red block with three white circles) not that the particular item will record.

Thanks for the prompt response, but I’ve run into a dead end trying to access the logs.
From the web app Settings>Server> Troubleshooting downloaded the log zip but the haven’t been able to view the files as they’re all got a “.log” file format. Do recall previous occasional incidents where something didn’t record, and there was a message but don’t recall how that message was accessed.
