Scheduled DVR shows not recording

I’ve noticed that over-the-air TV shows that I have scheduled for recording using the DVR feature are not being saved. For example, I had schedule two shows to be recorded this past week, one on Wednesday evening and a second on Thursday evening (since then, I’ve deleted one of those shows from my Recording Schedule, the other show is set for regular recording). Neither files are appearing in Plex or in my media folder in Finder. I have had success in the past with this feature and am eager to use it again. Thanks.

If the logs were just downloaded they will probably not have entries regarding a recording made on Wednesday or Thursday. I have yet to see a set of logs that spans even 24 hours if debug logging is set. Would need a set of logs immediately after the show being removed. Do you know that the show actually recorded? Do you have any delete or keep options selected for the recording? You don’t mention what the shows were so someone could search the logs to see if anything is in them. A timeframe for when the show was supposed to record would also be nice. Without that type of information you are basically saying here are my logs the information is somewhere in there if you read each line. I and many Ninjas don’t mind assisting other users but helping us by limiting the timeframe for searching the log is much appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. Upon reading your post, I went ahead and started recording the last 16-minutes of CBS Sunday Morning. I received a “recording in progress” notification at the bottom of the screen. I also went ahead and scheduled Face The Nation to start recording at 10:30 a.m. EST. I set this up the same way I do with any other reoccurring show. I will report back with my findings. Thanks.

Well, it appears that I don’t have a problem. Both tests I ran this morning worked just fine. Not sure why I can’t get my Wednesday and Thursday programs to record. I will try deleting the scheduled recordings and try again. Thanks.
