I have a Debian server (no Xorg) with Hauppauge WinTV QuadHD and Plex 1.9.2.4285 using x64 .deb and the DVR has been very unreliable. I have to restart PMS every few hours otherwise it will not record any show.
The DVR works fine for first few shows, but after some time it stops recording the shows. Shows which were being recorded stop in the middle and new shows won’t even start recording. This whole time the recording schedule shows that Plex is recording normally, except recordings reach 100% but never end.
Recordings that are stuck in between has a file in .grab directory that is being used by a process, but I can tell that nothing is happening because the file mod time stops changing. The recordings that do not start have no file or folder in .grab file.
I have tried with and without transcoding, same results.
