Sometime a month or two ago I started having issues with my DVR files. Now when they record and I play them back I get stutters, jitters and sometimes incorrect aspect ratio. This happens on my Samsung TV using Plex app as well as when using my Amazon FireTV. They play fine via the Web app. I also have an issue with some shows that around 45-minutes in they start acting like a scratched record and just repeat a two second blip, but again that issue doesn’t show up on Web app, only plex app (samsung, fire TV and roku). At first I only noticed it on a couple shows that were on CBS so I figured they suck and are doing something to cause it trying to get us to signup for their online offering. But, I’m really noticing things on other channels to. Some items work fine, some items skip, I’m unsure why it’s doing this. I’ve tried turning on transcode thinking that’ll fix it but it still happens. Prior to this I’ve had great results since the beginning of the DVR.
Does anyone have ideas? My plex has been rock solid wonderful, but these last few months I’ve been struggling. I haven’t had issues with movies that were ripped, only shows recorded on the DVR.
