pixelated play back

Hi Plex Forums,
I have been using Plex DVR for about 3 months. For the last month or so every recording will play for a minute and a half then the screen goes pixelated and the rest of the file is unwatchable. I haven’t had any luck with searching on the net so I thought I would post my issue here. I am using a HD Homerun with my setup. I am able to watch live TV of the homerun without an issue so I have ruled out a faulty hardware. I have confirmed that all TV channels are experiencing the same issues. I have uninstalled the homerun from within Plex but didn’t help. I have played with every setting I can find but to no avail. I have a core i7 with 4GB ram running windows 8.1 with all latest updates and patches. My Plex server seems to be functioning fine I can play back old content without any issues. It only seems to play up when I try and record anything new.

Any ideas what might be going on?

There are other threads…many are having this issue

You should revert back to 1.6 and use .ts and that fixes the issue for now

Would like the old server version but they seem to have pulled it off the server…hopefully you have a copy
