TLDR: Linux script to force XMLTV guide refresh on Linux Server (Ubuntu)
Hi everyone. This morning when I went to use my DVR the guide was empty and prompted for a manual refresh, after doing so it showed up immediately. I use XMLTV and that refreshes itself automatically around 7am. I have scheduled tasks to run at 8am and to refresh guide data ticked in that section. The XMLTV guide succesfully updated this morning around 7 (log said so), but plex didn’t update the EPG. So I want to know if there’s a script (in linux) I can run that will make plex force refresh the guide. I’d like to do this a couple times a day in other bash sh scripts I have running.
