My guide data used to refresh automatically, but does not seem to do that anymore. I have the option enabled in the DVR settings. Manually updating appears to work properly.
Have you changed the scheduled task window for your server? (Plex Web->Settings->Scheduled Tasks) The automatic guide refresh is supposed to happen during the scheduled task window, and if that window is too short it can cause the automated tasks to not complete.
If not, debug level server logs covering a day that the EPG refresh didn’t happen may help identify the issue.
Yes, but I have it set to go between midnight at 6:00am. I would think 6 hours would be enough time to update the guide data. I’ve reverted to no restriction, so we’ll see if it keeps up now. If not, I’ll capture server logs and go from there.
If your library is large, your server computer isn’t high power, and you recently upgraded your Plex server version then it may be catching up on credit detection. Just a guess…
