DVR Recording keep disappearing

I keep losing some recorded shows.
when I schedule a recording, I am able to see it in the .grab directory while it’s actually recording. When the recording finishes, it just creates a new empty directory with the show name etc. The recorded file has completely disappeared. I’m storing all files on a Synology NAS. I have tried using both the NAS server and the Nvidia shield servers and get the same result.
