I have a recurring problem that some of my recordings pixielate and the audio is no longer in synch. I did have someone come out and test my antenna signal, it was very strong so that is not the issue. I also bought a new HD Homerun, and that didn’t fix the issue either. Here is my configuraion:
Plex server ver 4.22.3
Windows 7 (yes, I know I need to upgrade :-))
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
16 GB Ram
Could it be that my system is a bit old and having trouble handling the transcoding when recording shows and it “hicups”, causing the pixelation and audio issues? Do I need to upgrade the processor, RAM, and perhaps get a low end graphics card?
Please advise.
