DVR recording set from 8pm-9pm ends prematurely, another DVR failure. Logs attached

So…THIS recording of Masterchef was supposed to run from 8pm-9pm. But…it only recorded approximately 4 minutes worth, and “ended” the recording, FAILING to record the entire hour.

Sometimes shows record the full hour. Sometimes they don’t.

Worse thing of all…it appears Plex is targeting my wife’s favorite shows as the ones to “mess up” on, which is NOT helping me.

Logs attached…I’m hoping one of the Plex developers can figure out this failure, and provide a reliable product…soon.

Appears your recording stopped at 20:05, not sure why. Perhaps some Plex Employee can examine the logs further and provide some insight. @keithah @BigWheel @sa2000

I’m finding the PlexTranscoder.exe process crashing frequently on my system. Very frustrating. I hope the dev team can get this stable very soon. I switched from WMC to this but starting to regret it. Beta or not, I shouldn’t lose one program per evening because of this!

I would like to add that I’m am experiencing the exact same issue as listed here and it is very frustrating. I don’t understand why Plex DVR recorded all shows and movies completely without error in previous versions, but now seem to fail only several minutes into a recording.

With this new version of 1.8x, everything seems to be working for me, though this is just day 1…that never happened with 1.7x. Thank you (so far) Plex developers!

I do have transcoding off on the HDHomerun tuners…I think I’m going to try to see what happens with it back on…
