I am having trouble recording any programs on Plex DVR. Every time it tries to record it comes up with the “no write access to destination” error message.
I have tried searching through this forum, and many others online, but couldn’t find anything that really made sense to me (layman here!).
I am using an Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 as the Plex Media Server & Client, and a MyCloudEX2Ultra to store the data. I created a share on the EX2Ultra called “Nvidia_Shield” (was advised that this is the only share that plex will write to), and created a folder on it called “TV Shows”. I made sure that my [TV Shows] library is pointing to this folder. I opened up the mycloud dashboard and selected the Nvidia_Shield share. The attached shows the settings, which to me look like it should be accessible, but perhaps someone who knows more about these things may be able to spot something wrong.
Is there something I’m missing here? Any additional settings I need to look at?
