This seems to happen with shows that have the same title. For example, “Hockey”, or “Golf”, etc. Another important note is Plex is thinking these shows are “Movies”, I’m guessing because the EPG isn’t satisfactory for it to determine what it is.
What’s happening is I go to record “Hockey” for example, and there’s lots of available channels and air times because of the generic title. So I go into the advanced options for the recording and limit the channel and air time so I record the correct show.
The odd thing is, once the recording is scheduled, when I go to “Recordings” it shows up at a completely different date/time yet still records at the time I actually wanted.
For example, I scheduled “Hockey” to record today from 2-4:30pm so I limited the start time to 2pm to the channel I wanted. When I go to the “Recordings” view it’s currently in the middle of recording, yet it’s shown as set to record on Saturday at midnight on a different channel.
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
