DVR records for a few seconds then stops

Complete logs means attaching the full zip file that was downloaded into a reply, otherwise I have to ask several questions and then may still need to see the full zip to understand what is happening. (Plex Employees usually won’t help or reply if not present)

  1. Server Version
  2. OS Version, Server or Workstation. Did you load a GUI.
  3. Client being used for testing and version
  4. CPU
  5. Location of transcoder folder
  6. Are you running Plex native, docker, snap, VM.
  7. Storage, internal, external, NAS
    8 Country (Different broadcast standards)

Your choice of using /media can create permission problems.

Find the Codecs directory, default path is: /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Codecs

Stop Plex, don’t remove the .device.id file but delete the contents of the subdirectory, then restart Plex and try again.
