I’ve noticed on several recordings, like Saturday Night Live where it airs at 10PM and 11PM, if I set the Limit airing time option to either time, it doesn’t record anything (typically I only want 11PM). This persists for shows with only 1 consistent airtime (NCIS @ 8PM, will only record if option is not used), and does not matter if time format is set to 12 or 24-hour. Latest logs attached.
Additional logging added at Debug level doing the switch on NCIS - it should record no matter what, but it will only schedule if Limit to airing time is not set - Thanks!
Plex does not work well when combining pre padding and limit to air time. This is in the backlog of future fixes.
I’m having this problem with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and I’m not padding on either side of the recording
This is an old thread from December 2017. You might want to start a new thread for your issue include logs of the issue you are having and screenshots of your recording settings for both the Basic and Advanced sections. Your Plex Media Server version is also helpful information.
