DVR Limit to Airing Time Not Working

I’m running Plex as a docker on Unraid with HDHomeRun network tuner. I’m trying to setup a scheduled recording to record the daily news at 6 pm everyday. However, when I try to “Limit Airing Time” to 6 pm, I get no scheduled recordings. If I do not limit the Airing time it records fine, but also records the news at several other times of the day.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

I am experiencing the same problem.

In the past, I deleted the recording and re-scheduled it again with a limit on the airing time and it solved the problem. However this workaround is no longer working.

I have replicated this issue and filed a GHI for Plex related to the issue.

FYI, in case it helps - as I have the same issue. When I try to limit the time, it shows as “No upcoming airings”. This goes away when not limiting start time.

Any updates? I ran into this issue myself. Cancelling the recording and adding it back did not fix the issue.

Thank you for the update. I don’t currently subscribe to the beta, and my latest version is 1.18.5.2309. I’ll keep my eye out.

I just wanted to follow up:
I updated to 1.18.6.2368 this morning and it seems to have fixed the schedule. I haven’t had enough time to test an actual recording, but I don’t imagine I’ll run into an issue.

I’m running into the same issue with the DVR recording time an hour ahead when trying to limit the recording time. If the show is scheduled to run at 7 pm the only options are any or 8 pm. My current version is 1.18.8.2527. I’ve updated my HDHOMERUN tuners (2 quad tuners boxes), checked the system for correct time zone, changed the settings to no avail. Starting to get a bit irritating. Any ideas??

@Navjag I believe it only provides the option for the time slot you used when originally setting up the recording. Try cancelling the scheduled recording and using the 7PM time slot to start a new schedule. Pretty sure it will then give you the options for Any or 7PM.

@Jkunst First, thanks for your response!! I deleted all my scheduled recordings and rescheduled them but that did not work. I selected a new show that airs on Tuesday at 7 pm CST and went back into advanced recording options and selected limit to channel then tried to limit the airing time by selecting the drop down menu which is populated with any and 08:00 pm. Tried everything related to system time and date but nothing changes the issue of the wrong time option. For now the show will record if I limit to channel and select any under the limit to airing time.

@Navjag It was certainly worth a shot.
I would actually recommend you start a new topic for your issue. This topic was started to address a different bug where if you limited the DVR to record at a certain time, it would never record, even when the show aired at that time.
