Limit to airing time

Hi!

I finally purchased the Plex Pass license and am trying out the DVR function.

I have a local PBS station that airs the same show multiple times during the day, with the one I want to watch at 5:30pm. That’s the first airing, then there is one at 7:00PM and other sometime the next morning.

I do have the recordings set to start 3 minutes before the show begins, so 5:27PM. I then set the airing time to 5:30PM and Plex says there is nothing to record.

If I remove the 3 minute padding it then finds the shows.

Did I do something wrong?

Sounds like a bug to me. since 5:30 pm is the first time that episode airs you should be ok to select ANY. but i have made a bug report.

Is there any update to this problem? I have the same issue of shows not recording when I try to limit to a specific airing time even when I’m not using padding on either side of the recording.

A fix for the original issue with padding issue was fixed a few months ago. Sounds like a new bug if that is happening to you without editing padding.
