I working to find a way to watch recordings on the Roku using Direct Play to lessen the scrubbing time.
When transcoding during recording, recording created play well on the Roku using Direct Play, but will not scrub. Video returns to the original starting point after each scrub.
If I optimize the recording for Universal TV, it plays and scrubs on Roku just fine, but this is a secondary step and writes an additional file.
Can the DVR transcode during recording process be tweaked to provide scrubbing capability on the Roku?
