As others have pointed out in other questions regarding DVR support, I would like to know if anyone has had luck using the PCTV TripleStick on linux. I had bought that USB tv tuner very recently due to its great linux support, and it even works great with my Raspberry Pi, but I have always been a fan of Plex and their excellent features but I would like to know if this tuner is supported before fully subscribing to the Plex Pass
There is a whole thread on DVR & Tuners in the Plex Pass area . Also, Plex has just released a questionnaire on the very topic of ‘currently untested’ tuners.
In general, if you run Linux bare on the host, you’ll have good experience. LXC and Docker have nothing but problems at the USB level due to their innate isolation of devices.
