DVR: watch from start caught in an endless loop (Android TV)

Hi,

I am experiencing a strange problem when trying to start a (still) active recording from start on my Bravia TV (version 8.14.1.23548). The recording keeps playing the first 1-2 seconds and then jumps back to repeat the same again and again. This does not happen on any other player so I assume it’s a problem of the Android TV player. Once the recording has finished, it can be played without any problem.

Looking at the log file one can spot many Broken pipe entries at the time I tried to watch the recording from start.

I honestly think the more posts the better. DVR i supposed to be a fundamental function of Plex, but why are we having to deal with this not working for so long?

Here to report I too am having the SAME issue. NVIDIA Shield is where the issues present.

I have the same issue on my Nvidia Shield. Recorded TV on Plex needs some major work.
