I’ve moved broadband provider. before moving I was able to download music/talking books from Media server to my phone, but now its failing with ‘error downloading items’.
I’m on the same Wifi and subnet, logged into both server and client with same address.
I’ve tried logging out of browser and client, restarting and logging in again, still fails.
Download failed: Data transfer failed (The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “192.168.1.156â€, which could put your confidential information at risk.).
I do have a yellow ! next to my media server, but the Plex helpsite down’t tell me how to get rid of it!
Same for me. It use to work flawlessly and here recently I have been having all kinds of issues. I couldn’t figure out why it just stopped working. Just went on a four hour flight with no media, sigh.
I did some more testing, I found if I connect to my plex media server over ‘localhost32400’ the Media server has a Green lock next to it, which tells me it’s secure, but when I look from the https://app.plex.tv/desktop site I get the orange ! symbol which according to the AQ’s says it not secure! WTAF!
