EAC3 don't play

Server Version#: 1.20.0.3181
Player Version#: 4.34.4

[Transcoder] [eac3_eae @ 0x9ee880] EAE timeout! EAE not running, or wrong folder? Could not read ‘/tmp/pms-839b5c31-81cb-4bbf-b512-a5c3f0a5092b/EasyAudioEncoder/Convert to WAV (to 8ch or less)/58342893-9857-466d-a38a-a18cc3080e8d_31508-0-2989.wav’

Anyone have a help with this?

rest of the DEBUG logs ZIP please?

It’s impossible to diagnose without them.

If you can restart PMS and wait 2 minutes before collecting the logs, that will provide additional information often associated with this type of failure.

this?

I’m also having the same issue recently

@zeus_nexusplay

  1. Please go back and turn off VERBOSE. VERBOSE is only making it harder here
  2. Also, as I half implied/requested, would you please restart it so I may see what PMS is doing at startup (which is where this type error often originates)

@musclesguest

Please join in with DEBUG, not VERBOSE, logs ZIP (VERBOSE is too much information and overflows the buffers in this case)

collected just after recreating and after a fresh restart.

I ask this because this error usually happens when the Linux host kernel runs out of resources.

We only see the error during PMS start. During normal operation, the log buffer space is overwritten by normal processing (our window of time lapsed)

Ok
done
