EAE timeout! EAE not running, or wrong folder?

There is alot of dicussion about this error in the forum, but none of them seem to have a solution to it. I’ve seen it before in my logs but didn’t really have time to look into it.
I’m running the latest official plex docker on unraid 6.

Now i’ve done some testing and found something in the logs and file system.
Just like everybody, this line:
[Transcoder] [eac3_eae @ 0x82ec00] EAE timeout! EAE not running, or wrong folder? Could not read

But it’s looking for this file:
Could not read ‘/tmp/pms-9957a8b2-97f2-492c-b515-b94bc8a5718a/EasyAudioEncoder/Convert to WAV (to 8ch or less)/tgcgb5163gdv0y4lgozissg0_732-0-34.wav’

I was watching the output folder the same time the transcoder was running, and I saw these files instead:
-rw-r–r-- 1 plex users 50K May 15 12:31 tgcgb5163gdv0y4lgozissg0_732-0-34.ec3
-rw-r–r-- 1 plex users 50K May 15 12:31 tgcgb5163gdv0y4lgozissg0_732-0-35.ec3

It appears to be looking for WAV files but the transcoder generates ec3 files.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Can I change a settings file, add an enviroment variable or something so it will look for ec3 files or change the output to wav extension like the log files indicates it’s missing…

I have the exact same issue, and I’ve been unable to solve it too.

I see the same error in my PMS log file. I haven’t been able to transcode files that have DD+ (eac3) audio.
