I deleted several shows or several episodes off my hard drive, but plex still has them listed as unavailable. Is there an easy way to get rid of them rather than going through the library and deleting each show or each episode?
Refresh the library and Empty the Trash.
Note: If the parent directory is gone, it will ‘stick’. Recreate the empty parent and then you’ll be fine after Update/Empty
If they’re already marked as unavailable normally you can simply click the … menu next to the server name from the web app and then select empty trash which will remove unavailable shows/episodes/movies from the entire server. There is also the option from the … menu next to the library to only perform the action on a specific library as well.

I emptied the trash and it said the trash was emptied but it still shows as unavailable
